Great Lakes Fisheries (GLF) is a centre for wild caught seafood excellence founded by brothers Graeme and Philip Byrnes in 2016. Located at Forster on the Mid-North Coast of NSW, GLF brings together the best, the most innovative, the most professional of local professional fishermen to one place, supplying seafood of extraordinary quality locally, across NSW and beyond.
Using our contracted GLF fish handling techniques, the result is award winning seafood of extraordinary quality, texture and flavour second to none.
At the same time, GLF embraces environmental best practice, a demonstrated commitment to reducing our carbon footprint as well as a strong personal involvement in developing and promoting sustainable fisheries management in NSW. We at GLF also strive to be the best stewards of our marine environment taking care of the pristine waters we fish on the mid north coast of NSW.
Now, we seek to bring the story of the extraordinary quality seafood we produce to a wider audience through the ‘Eat More Seafood’ program linking up seafood consumers with those doing the catching.
